Community Church

The ongoing development of the Centre is a holistic thing and, apart from the regular everyday activities and Community outreach, Captain Syd Henderson (A Church Army Officer) (below), as a Licensed Lay Minister for the Diocese of Leicester, has been given the task of starting up a Worshipping Community based at St. Francis.

2008 brings a new phase to the Community as we have had our first Baptism (see images on right) and will be offering Holy Communion more regularly through the year. Our young people will be meeting after the services for the new monthly Christian Youth Club ‘Frankie's Fellowship’ at the Centre and those young people who do not go to church are being reached each month by “Something Else” on Sunday our new Christian based event for the over 10’s
